I have developed a good understanding of the key considerations that make up the complex area of website accessibility and I have found that it is best to spend time early on in the project planning phase agreeing a clearly defined approach to accessibilty.
The following list details specific accessibility related responsibilities that I have undertaken:
- Production of a company accessibility checklist for current and future projects
- Overseeing the accessibility standards of a 3rd party search solution
- Application of accessibility guidelines to standard UX specification documentation.
